Terms and Conditions

  • Market trading hours 5pm – 9pm
  • Vehicles are not permitted on the event site between 4pm and 9.30pm, or until deemed safe by the Safety Officer.
  • Site access for set up is between 1pm and 4pm and for pack down from 9.30pm.
  • Stallholders must have current Public Liability Insurance (of a minimum of $20 million). This should state “Anywhere in Australia” or specifically to the event “Chirnside Park Twilight Markets”.
  • Completion of an Application Form does not guarantee a site at the Chirnside Park Twilight Markets.
  • Only items listed on the completed stallholder application form will be sold at the event.
  • Fruitbowl Productions Pty Ltd reserves the right to refund in full any payments received if applications are unsuccessful.
  • Notification of non-attendance is required. No refunds will be given for non-attendance.
  • Fruitbowl Productions accepts no responsibility for adverse weather and no refunds will be given for this reason.
  • Stallholders must comply with the requirements of any legislation applicable to them, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • All electrical equipment (cooking appliances, fridges, etc.) must conform to relevant statutory authorities and industry codes or standards. Earth leakage protection must be used in conjunction with all power tools and extension leads. Extension leads must be fixed overhead or away from pedestrian or vehicular traffic and in accordance with the Australian Standard for Electrical installations-Shows and Carnivals.
  • All electrical equipment including extension leads are to be tagged with a current test/tag issued within the last 3 months or in line with Australian Standard
  • All food stallholders must provide their own appropriate fire extinguisher and/or fire blanket. Please ensure the correct Fire extinguisher is provided and installed in accordance with Australian Standard
  • All gas appliances and cylinders must conform to Energy Safe Victoria Office of Gas Safety guidelines “For Caterers, Food Outlets and Others at Major Events”
  • The “Gas Safety Self-Checklist” must be completed by the operator/user of the gas appliance/cylinder. If you are an operator of a mobile food van/ site that uses gas, your van must display a GAS PLATE that confirms a licensed plumber has inspected your van and your van is approved by the Energy Safe Victoria (Office of Gas Safety).
  • All equipment that is supplied by the stallholders must be in good order and used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines.
  • Gazebo’s, tents, shade structures and marquees must be in good order, put up by competent persons in accordance with the manufacturer’s design specifications. The structures must not be in attached or tied to trees and the position of pegs and any guide ropes must not cause a trip or knock hazard. Protruding pegs should be covered with a protective layer and clearly marked with hazard tape.
  • The recommended weights for 3m x 3m shade structures is 60kg per leg to tolerate wind of up to 50km/hour.
  • All Stallholders will be provided with an allocated site, this site will be set at the discretion of the Event Manager and cannot be moved or swapped without prior agreement. Stallholders are not permitted to promote their services or products outside of this area. i.e. Distribution of material across festival site. All Stallholders are not permitted outside their demised site for promoting or selling of their services.
  • Stallholders are responsible for obtaining correct permits to operate their stalls including Streatrader and liquor licencing.
  • Stallholders agree that their image and/or voice as recorded, photographed or filmed during the festival may be broadcast or published for the purposes of Chirnside Park Twilight Markets and Fruitbowl Productions promotion and marketing.
  • The Event Manager has the right to direct stallholders to leave if the stallholder’s behaviour is not appropriate and/or does not comply with the Stallholder Terms and Conditions or Chirnside Park Twilight Markets Site Rules (provided in the Stallholder Information Pack prior to the event).
  • Stallholders are to represent themselves, their site and the event in a professional, safe and courteous manner and to not engage in behaviour that brings the reputation of Chirnside Park Twilight Markets and other stallholders in disrepute.
  • Stallholders must respond cooperatively to any direction given by Event Management in relation to the operation and occupation of their stall, vehicle, equipment and goods and any direction of a security or safety nature.
